For those of you who have been looking for a one-stop Bazaar for purchasing organic fruits, vegetables, plant seeds, millet-based food items, Aadivaram Angadi (Sunday Market) at Our Sacred Space is the answer.

Started in March 2014, Aadivaram Angadi is a host to a variety of products: From self published authors who print their books with recycled paper, organic fruits and vegetables, ready to eat millet snacks, jute and cloth bags, handmade paper chains, organic hair products to accessories. Everything healthy has a place here.

Home entrepreneurs like Shipra who make bread at home and sell it at exhibitions/markets like these to established restaurants like Aahar Kuteer, Hyderabad’s first millet restaurant have a stall here.

The quality of these organic products is assured as Nayantara has partnered with Dharti Organics (formerly known as Good seeds) to evaluate the products on various parameters and observe stringent rules before they sanction the placement of any stall.

“I have been looking for products with no preservatives or artificial colouring and it became difficult to look for a place where all the products were available. That’s when the idea of Aadivaram Angadi occurred.” Nayantara, Our Sacred Space, Founder says.

Organic food apart from being a healthy option also is less harmful to the earth and the farmers who needn’t use fertilizers. Also, one can learn about the products they are buying by interacting with the sellers.

Even for people who want to sell only exclusive items like paper-made accessories like Snehalatha, who makes accessories with recycled magazine finds the Aadivaram Angadi a place where she can interact with her costumers and introduce them to new concepts like this.

Future plans include presentations and awareness sessions about organic food and holistic development.

Aadivaram Angadi is open on all Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm at Our Sacred Space, Secunderabad, Near
